I wanted to avoid too much self promotion here, but if I can't post about my new designs on my own blog where else am I supposed to? hehehe

I created this alpha because it came to my attention there are a lot of people that can't use .abr files, and my imagination kit only had the .abr version of this fun painted alpha, so I made the png files available separately:

Noticed I skipped 2 numbers? Yep, still working on those :) The other two tabbed albums of the Kaisercraft range. Still need to get their new release, it is sooo yummy!!!

So, I have learned a lot this week and have created lot's of little things and you know how I always want to help people create or if I spend a lot of time doing something I usually share at least a template for people to be able to recreate what I did, like I do with the hybrid templates. That transferred to the designing side of things with Commercial Use products, I get so much satisfaction sharing the tools I created for myself with other people :) Here are my commercial use products:

I have used the brushes to create some papers and other things and it is FUN :)

Hi loyal blog readers :) Did I mention I am branching out with designing? Yeah, I have been *trying* to draw and *trying* to turn these drawings into pretty papers. After some play I have created my first kit and, let me tell you, it was a huge learning experience. I hope you like this and see it as a little sign of things to come (good things):

All made by hand, this is all mine, and that is why I am proud of it :) I actually went a little over board and created too many papers, I had a hard time selecting them for the kit and before I knew it I had 30 papers. So I have decided to give the solid papers away as a freebie:

So after drawing the alpha with watercolours, I literally spent days extracting, cleaning, recolouring, cutting each alpha (that took the longest), packaging and uploading it to the store.... phew. Learned my lesson, learned to create brushes and I am not so sure I am going to recolour my next alpha.... so, please let me know your favourite colour for next time!!! I have also provided an option for people to buy the whole pack at once and save 50% :) My favourite one is sweet sunshine, and it was also the most painful to recolour, I felt inclined to just redraw the whole thing :) but figured it out in the end. But yellow is probably not very popular so, as I said, you got tell me your favourite!

Lastly, I made these alphas because I *loooove* the soft and perfectly imperfect look of the watercolours and I really wanted to find a way to bring that quality to digital, so, I created a brush set:

As you can imagine, this took much longer than I expected and I haven't had the time to play with my own design yet... eeck! That's ok, this was a LOT of self promotion for a day anyway :)
