If you are puzzled by this post's title, it is father's day in Australia. I know, lucky Alex has THREE father's days (America, Brazilian and Australian)! hehe. But I am happy to play along, specially when it is an excuse to create more scrapbooking pages. I love this photo of when I was pregnant with Matty, kinda like Alex's first father's day:

The page above was also created using a template set I am releasing this Tuesday (Playing with Paper 15), but if you are one of my lucky newsletter subscribers you must have already got it for free!!! Sign up so you don't miss out on these little gifts (I am going to repeat that over and over until I get the same sign ups as the blog haha, sorry)
Back to the father's day, the Australian one is the one we really celebrate, Alex had a little wake up call in the morning with the boys giving him presents and then we went to a friend's place for lunch. I dropped the dessert at the door LOL, grabbed it before it hit the floor and it got all mashed and ugly, but everyone still ate it!!! The boys had a wonderful time with the jumping bed and we had a relaxing night.
I have been very busy lately and have some AMAZING news to share tomorrow. But what really kept me busy was this:
I can't really fit the whole thing in the photo, but this is the boys' new bed, one at the top and one at the bottom with the desk and everything included. We bought it on Saturday and it arrived on Tuesday, record time for any furniture we have ever purchased. But there was a little catch, it came unassembled, in boxes, and without instructions. We spent three night putting it together, well, Alex did, it was a real puzzle. But at least it is done and we don't have to worry about it. We also went to Target and bought new covers and shaped cushions, the kids were so excited. Now I just have to stop Lucas to going up to Matty's room when it is bedtime. They are LOVING it
Ok, gotta go :) I will be back tonight with the Pencil Lines free template.
